Gib Bescheid, ob du dabei bist
The Lancaster Insurance Classic Motor Show, still widely known as the NEC Classic Motor Show, fills the NEC Birmingham from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 November 2026. It is the traditional finale to the classic season, when car and motorcycle clubs show their best vehicles before laying them up for winter. The show celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2024.
The scale is the main draw. The organisers promise more than 3,000 vehicles from every era and more than 300 car clubs, plus 450-plus exhibitors and what they call the UK's biggest indoor autojumble, spread across NEC Halls 1-5 and 8. The 2026 club theme is 'Debutants'. Every club display is encouraged to include a vehicle that has never appeared at the show before, and 20 cars will make their first appearance in the Lancaster Insurance Pride of Ownership Autumn Final.
The wider programme includes the Meguiar's Club Showcase, restoration demonstrations, live talks and Q&As, a classic motorbike showcase and family activities. The Hall of Fame induction returns, and its 2026 shortlist was announced in October. New features include a YouTube Village with creators such as IDriveAClassic and JayEmm on Cars, and a Zircotec Modified Zone powered by Copacetic.
Buyers should plan around the Iconic Auctioneers sales on Saturday and Sunday. Headline lots include Mike Hailwood's 1966 Honda RC173 and Harry Metcalfe's Jaguar XE SV Project 8.
With this much to see, many visitors come for more than one day. Opening hours vary by day (see visitor information), and advance tickets are cheaper than buying on the door.
