Brightwells has made historic commercial vehicles a regular part of its classic calendar, and the next dedicated sale closes on Tuesday 17 November 2026. It runs as a timed online auction from the Classic Car Department at Easters Court, Leominster.
Recent results show how strong the specialist market can be. The August 2026 sale sold every lot, led by the 1929 Scammell 100-Tonner at £138,000, and buyers spent more than £200,000 in total. The October sale offered restored pre-war lorries such as a 1928 Vulcan 3X stock lorry, a 1935 Albion LB41 dropside that began life as a Post Office linesman's van, and a 1929 Guy ON tipper.
At the time of writing the November catalogue was still inviting entries, so lot details were not yet published. The closing time is listed from 2:01pm, although one Brightwells page shows 2pm. Bidders should check the sale page and register in good time. For October, viewing at HR6 0DE was by appointment.
The next commercials sale is listed for late January 2027.
