Vetera Oldtimerdag Ruinerwold 2027

The Vetera Oldtimerdag Ruinerwold has been held every year since 1993 on the third Saturday of August. The 33rd edition is on Saturday 21 August 2027 in the centre of Ruinerwold, in the municipality of De Wolden in Drenthe, along the street Dijkhuizen. The organisers call it one of the largest open-air oldtimer events in the northern and central Netherlands, and neither visitors nor participants pay a fee.

Vehicles in 11 historic categories are shown on a 2 km closed course through the village centre and a 3 ha meadow, including cars, motorcycles, mopeds, trucks, military vehicles and tractors. They also leave for tours through the region, with tractors departing first. The organisers' 2026 review on oldtimerdagruinerwold.nl reported about 2,000 vehicles and 20,000 visitors at the 2026 edition. Ruinerwold.info reported that in 2026, for the first time, entries were capped at 1,200 cars and 60 trucks, and those categories filled before the day.

Stichting Oldtimerdag Ruinerwold organises the event, and Vetera Oldtimerverzekeringen is the title sponsor. Registration for 2027 had not yet opened at the time of writing.
