Auto e Moto d'Epoca 2026 at BolognaFiere, Bologna

Auto e Moto d'Epoca is the largest classic vehicle fair on the Italian calendar and describes itself as the biggest show of its kind in Europe. The 43rd edition runs at BolognaFiere from Thursday 22 to Sunday 25 October 2026, organised by Intermeeting. The event moved to Bologna in 2023 after 39 years in Padua, and it now sits in the heart of the Motor Valley.

The scale is the first thing to plan for. The 2026 show occupies 14 halls and more than 235,000 square metres, with over 5,000 cars and motorcycles on sale and hundreds of international dealers and restorers, for a public coming from 40 countries. The layout follows four themed routes: car dealers, motorcycles, spare parts, and a culture and passion section where clubs, museums and marque registers celebrate the anniversaries of their history.

The market is increasingly international. 2026 sees the debut of Galleria Aaldering, an international classic car specialist bringing 18 cars of particular collector interest, and an agreement with an event in Brussels gives space in Bologna to exhibitors linked to the Belgian show and, in return, an area for Italian traders there. The centrepiece exhibition, Icons of Speed, gathers more than 25 competition cars around the legends of endurance racing, and Corvette owners have a European gathering with the presence of the National Corvette Museum.

Two-wheel collectors are well served, with Honda Classic, the Prestige Bikes area and 500cc Grand Prix machines. The parts market remains one of the most sought-after sectors, alongside model cars and automobilia, and Time on Show, organised by BolognaFiere, adds rare, vintage and collectable watches.

Thursday 22 October is the inaugural day, with a premium ticket and no reductions, and Friday to Sunday are the main public days. With so much ground to cover, many visitors choose a two or three-day pass, and the organiser recommends buying online to avoid queues at the ticket desks.
